Partner workout at home
Training is easier for two: you make a date, pull each other along – and laugh more.
The “you go, I go” principle
One works, the other rests – then you swap. Everyone gets a break and the pace stays high. Good for different fitness levels: everyone does as many reps as they can.
10 exercises for two (no equipment)
- High-five push-ups: facing each other in a plank, high five after every rep.
- Wall sit side by side: whoever stands up first does 10 squats.
- Mirror squats: facing each other, same movement, hold hands for balance.
- Alternating lunges: one forwards, one backwards.
- Plank with high fives: take turns lifting one hand.
- Glute bridge foot to foot: feet against each other, lift together.
- Towel row: both pull on a towel, one gives way.
- Side steps facing each other: like a mirror.
- Crunches with high fives: feet hooked, high five at the top.
- Stretching for two: back to back, lean to the side together.
With different workouts
Not everyone wants the same thing: one rides, the other does exercises – that works in front of the same TV too.
