Couples workout – training together at home
You both have an hour, but different ideas: one wants to ride, the other would rather lift. Usually that means taking turns. It doesn’t have to.
Together or each your own
- Same workout: both do the same exercises, each with their own weights and heart rate.
- Split screen: bike with watts and intervals on the left, exercises with a timer on the right. Everyone sees only what they need.
Everyone controls their own phone
Pause, easier, next exercise – if one remote handles that for two, there’ll be arguments. Better: everyone picks and controls their workout on their own phone, the TV shows both.
Different lengths? No problem
Whoever finishes first is done – the other keeps riding. Afterwards you both get a short summary.
What a training app for two should do
- Two profiles with their own heart rate, weights and goals
- The same workout or two different ones at the same time
- Controls per person (pause, easier, done) – without interfering with the other
- A week that counts for both, without competition
Frequently asked questions
Is there a fitness app for couples?
Yes. For couples at home it matters that both have their own profiles and can train at the same time in front of one screen – together or each their own programme.
Can we ride and lift at the same time?
With split screen, yes: bike with watts and intervals on the left, exercises with a timer on the right. Everyone controls their own workout on their own phone.
